AGM & Conference
Registration is closed and all 200 tickets are sold out for our Annual Conference and AGM which takes place on Saturday, 12th October, 2019.
We would like to thank everyone for their positive response and we look forward to seeing you on Saturday!
The deadline for registration is tonight at midnight (Wednesday, 9th October.)
Remember to get your tickets before then!
Tickets cost €30.00 (which includes a hot lunch and tea and coffee during the day and free parking on site).
We will take the opportunity to say farewell to our friend and colleague, Paul Collins, outgoing Chief Examiner of Spanish.
Catherine Leen, lecturer at the Maynooth University, will be one of the guest speakers.
Karla Medina McNamara, will provide some practical ideas and resources for teaching the new prescribed LC novel ‘Relato de un Náufrago’ (by Gabriel García Márquez) in the classroom.
We have also invited representatives of the JCT to join us on the day as we all get to grips with the new Junior Cycle Spanish course and Liam Printer will introduce us to the TPRS methodology (Teaching Proficiency Through Reading and Storytelling).
It promises to be a busy day but we have left time for networking opportunities and lunch and our valued sponsors will have stands and materials available.
